From business meetings to glamorous gala dinners, our professional Events Team can tailor your event to meet your exact requirements.

• The Merchant Hotel offers delegates the optimum environment to ensure they are at their very best all day: Two unique and innovative systems have been developed to enhance delegate concentration levels. 'Intelligent air purification systems' provide a 30% increase in oxygen levels at the touch of a button. Complementing this is the 'colour psychology lighting system' which allows trainers to create bespoke colour moods to maximise delegate performance.
• Blue tooth, high speed wireless broadband, fully adjustable air conditioning and heating controls are standard throughout all meetings and events suites.
• Our dedicated 6 room events space can cater for groups of 2 to 200 and includes dedicated private dining facilities.
• Our Veuve Clicquot Champagne Lounge for drinks receptions and parties of up to 40 people.
• Our beautifully landscaped roof garden is unique to the city and is available for booking private events. It features a private bar, beautiful landscaping and fabulous views over The Black Mountain and The Cave Hill. Drinks and finger food can be provided for parties of up to 80 people.
• Our Private Dining Room is an intimate and elegant room which is perfect for formal dining for parties of up to 18 people.
• Ollie's Club is available for private hire outside of club opening hours (Thursday-Saturday nights) and makes a superb events space for parties of up to 600 people.

In celebration of the renovation of our Roof Garden The Merchant Hotel is launching a Pop-up Rooftop Alpine Lodge which will be available to book for private parties of 40 or more from November 2013 until March 2014. With mulled wine or mulled cider upon arrival, and heart warming delights such as Daube Beef Bourginon, Pot-au-Feu, Quail au Vin and Tartiflette – the Pop-up  Rooftop Alpine Lodge will be a winter wonderland for the discerning and not to be missed.

The addition of a state-of-the-art retractable roof will allow guests to enjoy Belfast’s only Roof Garden, with panoramic views of city, all year round - no matter what the weather!

Available from £25 per person (minimum 40 guests).
